How to Apply
Follow these steps for a seamless application that will leave people guessing if your nails are real, while ensuring long-lasting adhesion. You will need a prep kit, glue or adhesive tabs and your reusable press-on nails.
Prep Nails
Begin by washing your hands thoroughly and ensure there are no products, creams or oils on the nails. Use the mini file to shorten the length or your nails. Keeping natural nails shorter reduces the risk of air bubbles during application.
Alcohol Wipe
Using the alcohol wipe, prep each nail by removing any remaining dust or oils. After this step, avoid touching the natural nails, as they are now fully prepared for glue of adhesive tab application.
Cuticle Pusher
Next, use the cuticle pusher to gently remove any dry skin from the nail plate. This step is essential to ensure there is nothing obstructing proper adhesion to the nail plate.
Glue or Sticky Tabs
For glue, apply a small amount of glue to the bottom centre of the press-on nail, avoiding the edges. Then place a small amount in the centre of the natural nail.
For adhesive tabs, place it approximately 1mm away from the cuticle. Use your nail to smooth it thoroughly, pressing it evenly across the nail surface. Apply gentle heat, using a hairdryer, to warm the adhesive, then repeat the smoothing process. The goal is to create a thin, evenly distributed and highly adhesive layer across the nail.
Mini Buffer
Use the mini buffer to gently etch the nail plate. Avoid over-buffing the natural nails; apply very light pressure using the smoother side. This helps the adhesive tabs or glue adhere more effectively to the nail.
Nail Application
For glue, gently tap the bottom edge of the press-on nail into the glue on the natural nail. Then, at a 45-degree angle, place the press-on nail in line with the cuticle and slowly lower it onto the nail to allow the glue to spread upward. Apply light pressure only. Allow for 60 seconds holding the nail in place.
For adhesive tabs, peel off the top layer from the adhesive tab and position the press-on nail approximately 1mm from the cuticle at a 45-degree angle. Firmly press down and back until the nail sits flush against the cuticle. Apply firm pressure and hold the nail in place for approximately 30 seconds.
